Protecting your personal data is important to us. This policy explains which data is processed when you visit this website. It applies to the current information website; before the online shop launches it will be extended to cover orders and customer accounts. The German version is legally binding.

Visiting the website and server log files

When you visit the website, our web server automatically processes data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, requested address, amount of data transferred, status code, previously visited page (referrer), and browser and operating system. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure (defence against attacks). The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are deleted automatically after 14 days.

Hosting

The website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in Germany.

Cloudflare

For secure and fast delivery and protection against attacks we use services of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (content delivery network, DNS and security features). In particular, your IP address and technical connection data are processed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA are based on the European Commission's adequacy decision and standard contractual clauses.

No cookies, no analytics, no third-party content

This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising tools and does not embed third-party content. Fonts are served from our own server.

Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the information in your message to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our mailbox is provided by the Gmail service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out and is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We delete your enquiry once it has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact us at the email address above.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
